Nominations for the Black Country Local Heritage Lists are now open!
November 15th, 2021 in News
From buildings and artwork to parks and gardens, you can now nominate your favourite historic places in the Black Country for the Council’s Local Heritage Lists.
Nominations open from 15th November until 14th February 2022. Sites on the Local Heritage List can include historic buildings, structures, parks and gardens, archaeological and geological sites and public art. Being on the Local Heritage List means that the heritage value of a site is considered when making planning decisions. There are already more than 1,000 entries on the Black Country’s combined Local Lists – but there are many sites that are worthy of inclusion.
